The United States Bishops are sponsoring a Eucharistic Pilgrimage to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the USA. It will bring our Eucharistic Lord along the east coast, ending in the City of Philadelphia the weekend of July 4th.

Join us at the Cathedral for the culminating events, including Mass, Confessions, service projects and these special events:

  • July 2-4: Continuous Eucharistic Adoration at the Cathedral (Adorers needed! Click here to sign up for a time slot)
  • July 4th: 12:05pm Sung Mass in the Basilica
  • July 5: Solemn Eucharistic Procession from the Cathedral to the Shrine of St. John Neumann (Volunteers needed! Serve as a Procession Marshall: Click here for details)
  • Screenings of the film Cabrini (Click here for tickets)

Our Perpetual Pilgrim team would also like to remember your prayer intentions during the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage as we travel up the Eastern Seaboard with our Eucharistic Lord during the 250th year of our nation.  Please submit them on or website at https://www.eucharisticpilgrimage.org.

These intercessions will be physically carried up to the altar during the offertory at the closing Mass over 4th of July weekend in Philadelphia.  You are welcome to add specific names or you may keep your intentions anonymous.  We are honored to remember you and your loved ones in prayer!

The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage promises to be a great blessing for the Archdiocese and our region.
