RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)
RCIA:
What is it?
The RCIA or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the Church's process of journeying with adults in their relationship with God, becoming familiar with Catholic teachings and practices and become acquainted with members of the parish.
Interested?
Individuals interested in exploring and discerning membership in the Catholic Church meet with our RCIA Team on a weekly basis to discuss these teachings in light of Sacred Scripture and Tradition. This process is for non-Catholics who wish to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist. Also, Catholics who desire to have a deeper knowledge of the Catholic Faith are most welcome to participate.
Children over 7 years old who have not received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Holy Eucharist are invited to participate in a similar age-related program. Please contact the church office at for details.
We begin our sessions in mid-September and they run through Easter. If you are interested in exploring this possibility, please contact Deacon Mike Franks to set up an appointment. Keep watching the Bulletin for further information as it becomes available.
You can reach Deacon Mike at deaconmikefranks@verizon.net or 484-919-9603
