Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1213: Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."
Baptisms are held the second Sunday during the 10:00 AM Mass and the third Sunday after the 10:00 AM Mass, at: 11:30 AM.
Call the Church Office at (215) 679-9275 to schedule baptism preparation instruction.
Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601 "The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."
For those interested in becoming married in our church, a notice of at least six months is required. Please call the church office at (215) 679-9275 to make an appointment.
Pre-Cana is a ministry to prepare couples to enter the Sacrament of Marriage. Our weekend program, given by married couples of our parish, helps engaged couples grow closer to each other and in their understanding of successful and sacramental marriage. We offer this program once a year, usually in the Spring.
Please pray for all couples participating and preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage!

Anointing of the Sick
"At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun in the waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the Sacrament of the Eucharist." (Order of Christian Funerals, no. 4)
