4. Did you attend St. Philip Neri School?

5. What are you earliest memories of the parish?

6. Who do you first remember as pastor of the parish?

7. What were some of the activities in the parish?

8. Do you know any current parishioners who were also early members of the parish/school?

9. Did you attend school with any current parishioners?

10. Do you have any old photos from the parish or any of the events in the parish?

11. Could you share with us what you remember about the parish, the administration, the school staff, etc.

12. Are there any historical facts you could share with us?

13. What was the “Valley” like?

14. What can you tell us about some of the Spiritual events (Mass, Sacraments) and social events in the parish.

15. Do you know anything about the bingo games with live chickens?


The Historical Committee is looking for articles of historical significance pertaining to St. Philip Neri Church and School, for example: Sacramental documents and religious items from Green Lane Chapel and East Greenville Church. Items from the school might be old yearbooks or pictures.


These items will be displayed in a locked glass case in the Parish Hall and/or the Catholic Family Life Center during the time of our 100th Anniversary in 2019. Items can be loaned temporarily or donated to the church.

Our Meeting Room is now located at Saint Philip Neri Rectory, Pennsburg, in the downstairs Meeting Room.

Description: BINGO  is held on the first Sunday of each month in the Parish Hall.


Doors open at 12 Noon with games beginning at 1:00 PM. It is open to parishioners and the general public.


The kitchen serves a variety of food and beverages.

  • Sausage
  • Omelets (with up to 5 ingredients)
  • Toast
  • Home Fries
  • Pancakes (plain & topping)
  • Juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate

Under 12:  $4.00

Under 2: FREE


There will be a special menu for May, 2020 and December, 2020.

Description: A parish run function for car enthusiasts to display cars on the last Friday evening in July.  The committee is comprised of volunteers from the Parish and meet on a monthly basis in the rectory.

Description: There are 10 members in the Garden Club.  We meet every Wednesday at 5:00 pm March through October.


We maintain the grounds around the church, social hall and rectory.  Care of the grounds includes: planting (flowers, shrubs & trees), weeding, watering, mulching; edging, trimming (trees & bushes) and whatever else might be necessary.


We also have a spring and fall cleanup and invite all the parishioners to participate.


If you enjoy the outdoors and gardening, we invite you to join our group on Wednesday's from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (weather pending) beginning April and continuing thru October. Description: Dedicated parishioner volunteers mow selected areas of the parish grounds on a weekly basis during late spring into early autumn.


Equipment is housed and maintained in a secure garage on the parish grounds.


Anyone who wishes to volunteer their time, call the leader, Bill Gillespie.

BLOOD DRIVE: Leader: Pete Frank Contact info: 215-679-6942 or Description: Blood Drive is held the last Monday in the month of August with volunteers from the Parish making the necessary phone calls to solicit people to donate blood prior to the donation date.

Description: The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic family service organization open to all practical Catholic gentleman 18 years or older.


  • The order was founded by a Catholic priest, the venerable Michael J. McGivney, in New Haven, CT in 1882.
  • The principles of the order are charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.
  • The council meets on the second Sunday of the month, at 7:30PM, in our meeting room in the basement of the rectory.
